Miya Bazley

Dr. Bazley decided to become a chiropractor in high school when she noticed how fellow athletes were sidelined due to “bad backs”, “weak knees” and other joint ailments. Even with great athletic trainers and medical support staff, there was still a reliance on over-the-counter pain medication and other medications that seemed ineffective. Thinking there had to be a better way to treat the body, especially muscle and joint pain she set out to become a chiropractor.

Dr. Bazley has  been practicing in Washington DC for approximately fifteen years. She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Bridgeport, graduating Cum Laude and has a bachelor’s degree in Health Science from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania with University Honors.

She has had great success treating dizziness, headaches and injuries related to motor vehicle collisions as well as helping runners with hip and back pain. She enjoys the complexity of treating shoulder conditions and working on the joints in the feet. Dr. Bazley has earned her Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner designation from the American Board of Chiropractic Sports Physicians which required additional coursework and testing above chiropractic school and continuing education.

Kelsey Evers

Kelsey is an integrative clinical nutritionist who is passionate about helping her clients address the root cause of their digestion, mood, and energy concerns by nurturing behaviors to promote physical, mental and emotional wellbeing through food, herbs and lifestyle changes. A second career nutritionist, Kelsey worked in the hospitality and event planning industry for 10 years but her own struggles with anxiety, gut health and hormonal imbalance led her to pursue her dream career in health and wellness.

In addition, Kelsey helps her clients learn how to heal their relationship with food and connect with their bodies through intuitive eating and body acceptance using a non-diet and weight-neutral approach. This includes grocery store tours where Kelsey helps clients learn how to navigate the grocery store, read nutrition labels and make informed food choices based on specific needs.

Kelsey obtained her Master of Science in Nutrition & Integrative Health from Maryland University of Integrative Health, and is a current Board Certified Nutrition Specialist and a Licensed Dietician Nutritionist in the District of Columbia as well as the state of Maryland.
