Ritual, Seasonal, & Energy Work

Private, one-on-one ritual work offered by Rev. Dr. Ingrid Mires

A living practice of rhythm, devotion, and embodied change

Not everything needs to be fixed. Some things need to be witnessed, named, honored, and re-patterned.

This page is for the work that doesn’t fit neatly into a clinical intake form. The work of thresholds, shedding skins, and becoming. These offerings are for people who feel the seasons in their bodies, recognize that the nervous system has its own weather, and who want support creating meaning, containment, and momentum without bypassing the real human mess.

This is where we go full ritual.

These offerings are not medical care and they are not psychotherapy. They are spiritual, educational, and experiential sessions rooted in seasonal cycles, embodied mindfulness, and personal practice. If you are also a patient of mine, we can keep these worlds distinct while still letting them speak to one another in a grounded way.

What This Work Is

Seasonal ritual and spellcraft is an intentional practice that uses rhythm, symbol, story, and action to create change internally and externally. It’s about making the invisible visible, so you are free to choose what you feed, release, protect, and what you are willing to become. It’s prayer with some nature material added in.

This may include:

  • Seasonal rites aligned with solstices, equinoxes, and cross-quarter days
  • Personal rituals for grief, endings, new beginnings, devotion, and momentum
  • “Practical spellcraft” for boundaries, focus, courage, protection, and clarity
  • Household and land-based rituals (thresholds, doorways, floors, altars, gardens)
  • Anointing oils, herb bundles, charm bags, and written petitions
  • Guided trance-style reflection
  • Symbolic crafting with natural objects (bones/feathers/stones- by request and resonance)
  • A tailored “ritual plan” you can repeat over a moon cycle or season

Some sessions are quiet. Some are fierce. Some are tender enough to undo you. The tone is chosen with you.

Who This Is For

This is for you if you:

  • Feel yourself in transition and want a container that actually holds
  • Are tired of “manifesting” culture and want something real, embodied, and disciplined
  • Want ritual that is beautiful and functional, not performative
  • Crave protection, steadiness, and boundaries that you can feel in your body
  • Want to mark an ending, call in a beginning, or reclaim a piece of yourself
  • Keep doing the same patterns and want a different set of tracks to run on
  • Want to work with the weather, moon, planets, stars, and seasons because your body already is

You don’t need to be “good at” spirituality or have the right vocabulary. You need willingness, honesty, and consent with yourself.

What This Is Not

To keep this clean and safe:

  • This is not medical treatment, and I do not diagnose or treat medical conditions in these sessions.
  • This is not psychotherapy, crisis care, or a substitute for mental health support.
  • This is not coercive, fear-based, or dependency-building spiritual work.
  • This is not a place where you are told what to believe.

This is collaborative. You remain the authority on your own experience.

The Offerings

1) Threshold Session (Single Ritual Session)

A focused session for a specific moment: a decision, a rupture, an ending, a new path… a big season shift.

Good for:

  • grief and release
  • boundary-setting
  • starting something you keep delaying
  • closing a chapter cleanly
  • reclaiming confidence and voice

You leave with:

  • a ritual sequence you can repeat
  • a short written petition or vow
  • a simple tool (oil, bundle, charm concept) based on what’s appropriate for you

2) Moon Cycle Container (4 Weeks)

A structured arc across a full moon cycle: intention → action → refinement → release.

Includes:

  • opening session (set intention + construct the container)
  • 2 check-ins (adjust, strengthen, protect)
  • closing session (seal, release, integrate)
  • optional written “spell sheet” you can reuse

Good for: sustained change that needs rhythm and accountability without the hustle.

3) Seasonal Rite (Solstice / Equinox / Cross-Quarter)

A deeper ritual experience aligned with seasonal thresholds: cleansing, consecration, boundary work, devotion, abundance, protection, or rest- depending on the season and your needs.

May include:

  • a home-based ritual map
  • seasonal altar guidance
  • floor wash or threshold work
  • candle work with safety protocols
  • garden or land offering (if appropriate)

4) Home + Threshold Clearing (Practical Ritual for Space)

For when a space feels heavy, stagnant, or “not yours” anymore.

This is not spooky theater. This is disciplined, sensory-based clearing and reset work:

  • floor wash formulas
  • smoke-free cleansing options
  • doorway and window protections
  • salt, herb, water, sound, and light practices
  • re-claiming the edges of your space (where boundaries live)

Good for: after conflict, illness, grief, moving, renovation, or long-term stress.

5) Custom Working (Co-Created Spellcraft)

For people who want something crafted with care and specificity- without appropriation, fear tactics, or manipulative “guarantees.”

This can include:

  • anointing oils (personal or household)
  • herb bundles or charm bag recipes
  • written petitions, vows, or sealing statements
  • ritual timing and repetition plan
  • ethical sourcing and safety considerations

Note: I do not offer “hexing” services or coercive love/obedience work.

How a Session Works

  1. We name the real thing (no spiritual bypassing). Some energy work or divination may be used.
  2. We define the aim: protection, release, clarity, courage, steadiness, attraction, or closure.
  3. We choose the container: season, moon timing, repetition schedule, and boundaries.
  4. We build a simple work using symbol + action + sensory anchors (oil, water, salt, plant matter, sound, written word).
  5. You leave with a plan you can repeat- because repetition is where change takes root.
  6. Some formulas might take time to cook or rest on my altar. In this case, you can pick it up when it’s ready or with your next session.

If you’re overwhelmed, we keep it minimal. If you’re ready to go feral, we build something fierce and precise.

Consent, Ethics, and Cultural Care

My work is grounded in respect. I do not “borrow” practices that are not mine to use. If something carries cultural lineage, we treat it accordingly and choose an alternative when needed. This work is about living in right relationship, stewardship, reverence, and responsibility.
