What Treatments May Include

Depending on your needs, sessions may integrate:

  • Acupuncture

  • Cupping and gua sha

  • Scar and fascia-focused manual techniques

  • Heat therapy

  • Scalp, skin, or tissue support as part of broader care

  • Regulation-focused treatment for stress and nervous system imbalance

Treatments are individualized and may evolve over time as your body responds and priorities shift.

Follow-Up Guidance &

Ongoing Support

Care does not end when you leave the treatment room. When appropriate, I offer follow-up suggestions to help reinforce and extend the effects of treatment. These may include:

  • Gentle movement or stretching guidance

  • Breathing or regulation practices

  • Heat or self-care recommendations

  • Simple home rituals or seasonal practices

  • Educational resources to deepen understanding of what your body is doing

Recommendations are always optional and designed to be realistic, not overwhelming.

Background & Education

I grew up as a military brat, raised across bases and cultures. My childhood was shaped by constant movement, changing environments, and an early awareness of how bodies, systems, and people adapt under pressure. Living internationally and within military communities exposed me at a young age to structure and instability.

That upbringing taught me to read environments closely, to notice how stress lives in the body, and to understand that health is never separate from context. It also instilled a deep respect for discipline, service, and the unseen labor required to keep people functioning in demanding systems.

My academic and professional path reflects that early conditioning.

Starting in 2000, I pursued formal training in East Asian medicine and acupuncture, earning my doctoral degree later in my career and completing extensive clinical education in acupuncture, herbal medicine, and integrative care. My studies emphasized both classical theory and modern biomedical frameworks, with a strong focus on anatomy, physiology, and evidence-informed practice.

Over time, my education expanded beyond traditional coursework to include advanced training in fascia-informed therapies, scar work, trauma-aware care, and nervous system regulation. This included continued study in connective tissue science, chronic illness presentations, and the ways prolonged stress, injury, or surgery alter tissue behavior over time.

My clinical education has always been paired with ongoing self-directed study by bridging East Asian medicine with contemporary research on fascia, circulation, interoception, and neurophysiology. This integrative lens allows me to work with complexity rather than reducing symptoms to isolated parts, and honestly helps tremendously while I navigate my own chronic illness.

Today, my background reflects both formal medical education and lived experience: a lifelong immersion in adaptation, systems thinking, and care for bodies shaped by stress, transition, and recovery.

A Bit More About Me

Outside the clinic, I am a devoted caretaker of land and space, and someone who pays close attention to the quiet intelligence of the natural world. I share my home with a cat and a dog, my husband and his two kids, and I maintain a long-standing kinship with corvids- creatures I admire for their memory, adaptability, and watchfulness.

I spend time in forests, tend thresholds and edges, and believe that care extends beyond the body into the spaces we inhabit and the rhythms we live by. These practices are not separate from my clinical work; they inform how I listen, how I pace, and how I understand resilience.

Education, Resources & Staying Connected

I believe informed patients are empowered patients. In addition to in-person care, I share educational materials, seasonal offerings, and self-guided resources through my website and Linktree.

These resources may include:

  • Digital downloads and guides

  • Educational videos and workshops

  • PDA courses for professionals
  • Seasonal reflections and ritual offerings

  • Links to current services and scheduling

Patients are welcome, but never obligated, to explore these materials as part of their ongoing care.

You can find current offerings and resources through my Linktree, which serves as a centralized place for updates, education, and ways to stay connected.

A Final Note on Care

My goal is not to “fix” you, but to work alongside you and to support your body’s capacity for regulation, repair, and resilience over time. Care is collaborative, adaptive, and grounded in respect for where you are now, while keeping intention on where we are going.
