Reiki
Make an AppointmentThe word Reiki is made of two Japanese words – “Rei” which means soul, spirit, or Universal life force and “Ki” which is life force energy. So Reiki is actually “spiritually guided life force energy.” The Reiki practitioner is a conduit for concentrated universal life force, Divine Source Energy, which flows into the recipient and awakens their life force, the Source Energy that already exists inside of them. This is a form of healing that is compatible with all others, and transcends religious orientation.
For in-person sessions, the hands are placed on the body, or several inches above the body in the biofield, as needed, and often the recipient will feel a great warmth emanating from the practitioner’s hands. Reiki has an intelligence of its own, and Reiki actually works well from a distance. It is a different experience from receiving Reiki in person, but people often report feeling the sensation of the practitioner’s touch and presence, in addition to feeling relief from relevant symptoms, an overall sense of peace and wellbeing, and sometimes a profound movement of energy, or other sensations.
